Find What You Need at the Library

The La Veta Public Library strives to provide useful and entertaining resources to our community's residents and visitors. We offer free wireless internet and public access computers to everyone. You can also copy, fax, print and scan documents. We offer a wide variety of materials for check out. You can also access many of our resources, like digital books and research tools, with your library card from anywhere that you have a computer and internet connection.

Don't have a library card? No problem! Anyone can sign up for a library card, even short term visitors and seasonal residents, for free.

We also invite you to attend our fascinating regular programs that feature films, presentations and more. Visit our website at www.lvpl.org for information about upcoming events at the library.

We also offer our meeting space to community groups that would like to host meetings or presentations. If you would like to reserve the meeting room for your organization, please contact the library for more details at (719) 742-3572.

  • Use the search tools to access magazines, newspapers and journal articles
  • Kid-friendly databases are available for homework help

Download free digital books and audiobooks

  • Download the free Cloud Library app from the app store on your device
  • Select "United States" as the country
  • Select "Colorado" as the state
  • Select "AspenCat Union Catalog" as the library
  • Enter your log in information (call the library if you don't know it)
  • Browse for eBooks and eAudiobooks
  • Check them out and download them to your device
  • You will have access to the item for 21 days
