Sun, Mar. 19, 2017 2:00pm

La Veta Public Library meeting room.

This year’s theme is Native American Cultural Values. Margaret Craven’s classic book, I Heard the Owl Call My Name, is the central focus of the program, free copies of which are available at the library. Events are scheduled ruing the first three weeks or March. The program series will also include talks by local artist Arthur Shortbull, archivist at the Santa Fe Indian School Christ Toya, and a movie appropriate to the theme. The Two Peaks One Book program mission is to build community support around great works of literature. 2017 is the 10th year of this popular program series.
