HULA Counties Early
The Huerfano-Las Animas (HULA) Counties Early Childhood Advisory Council is composed of community leaders, agencies and organizations from early care and education, health, judicial, oral health, law enforcement, social and emotional health and family support programs, working together towards comprehensive, systemic goals of children and families.
We support children & families in Huerfano & Las Animas Counties through partnerships which promote healthy kids, families, and communities through self-sufficiency. Local partners include the Las Animas-Huerfano County District Health Department, Trinidad State Jr. College, and City and County Elected Officials. Programs include Colorado Shines, Cooking Matters, Drive Smart, EQIT, Raising of America, and Reach Out and Read.
